Yes, I was busy as a bee, but not in the way I wanted to be. I, unfortunately, only got a couple hundred words in this month. That’s right. Hundred, not thousand. I barely touched the thing. Which is disappointing most of all to myself.
To be fair to me, it was a crazy busy month for some reason. We had a family vacation, kids’ activities, and my day job got a little crazy at times. So it was a bit exhausting. It’s also why this update post is a couple days late as well.
I still am keeping my goal of getting the first draft done by the end of this year. In order to have any hope of doing that, I’m going to do my best to cut down on all the other extracurricular activities that tend to pop up, but you never really know with kids, jobs, family, etc.
Sorry this post is so short, but obviously there isn’t much to update. Here’s to hoping next month’s update is juicier!
